My garden's freesias

Well, it might be a bit presumptuous to call it a garden, but it is "my garden" no matter how small it is (it's just a few pots on the balcony).
I planted some Freesias and they're in full bloom at the moment. The colours and the perfume are just amazing. Enjoy (at least some of the colours... can't help you with the perfume)!

Pan-roasted delicious carrots

And I'm not even a fan of cooked carrots! But these ones were quite nice. Still got a bit of bite to it and tasted delicious. Everyone loved them. A good excuse to go back to the farmer's market to get these. Specially for the colours, how beautiful are they? Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo before putting them on the pan... oh well. Next time.

You can find the recipe here. The only difference is that I used colourful carrots.

My (son's) arty plush

A couple of months ago, the last minute decision for a little girl's birthday present was inspired by my son's arty drawings.
I asked him to draw the little girl that mommy would make a doll out of his drawing. I think the result couldn't be better, specially because he was very proud of himself.

I will be turning this into a product on my shop pretty soon. If you're interested, get in touch all I'll give you more details.

So now for the Arty Plush! The fabrics were chosen by the artist himself.
Due to the rush of finishing the doll, I forgot the ears! But the artist forgave me.

Long time no post

Time really really flies! I can't believe over one month has past since my last post. I''ve been doing a fair amount of crafts but at the same time started a new day job. So, the time for the blog hasn't been much.
Unfortunately I've also neglected my shop. Oh well! It can only get better.

I have a few ideas boiling and hopefully will be able to put them to practice and new products will be available soon. I also have some more stuff to post of what I've been doing lately.

In the meantime, here are some photos I took the past weekend in the Jucker Farm of my favourite flowers...
